Rediscovering a Lifeway
Since the dawn of humankind, culture has emerged from the land, and from the plants that weave their way into our communities.
Our vision at the Northern Appalachia School is of resilient communities, with plant people at the center of the web of culture, food, medicine. Herbal knowledge keepers can open the door to not just plant remedies, but to a healing way of being on the land and with each other.
